Mr. Ashley is noted as an expert in Homeland Security Policy, Intelligence Planning and Execution, and Intelligence Resource Planning. Currently Mr. Ashley is Executive Director of the National Fusion Center Association (NFCA) in Washington D.C. W. Ross Ashley was confirmed by the United States Senate in December 2007 and served as the Assistant Administrator of the Grant Programs Directorate (GPD). Previously Mr. Ashley co-founded The Templar Corporation which provided real time information sharing solutions to public safety and security clients. Mr. Ashley has a BA in International Studies from George Mason University and an M.S. In Strategic Intelligence from the Joint Military Intelligence College in Washington D.C. He is also a graduate of the Academy of Military Science, Knoxville TN, the Combat /Water Survival School, Fairchild AFB, WA, Tactical Electronic Combat Intelligence Course, Eglin AFB, FL and the Target Intelligence Technical School, Denver, CO.
