Both individuals have joined IxReveal's government sales team, headed by Jim Hawley, vice president, Government Sector, and will be based in IxReveal's recently opened Northern Virginia office.The addition of Ely and Jones is a key component of IxReveal's 2005 growth plan for its Government Sector practice. Ely joins IxReveal from FileNet Corporation, where he was responsible for developing business opportunities across the Department of Defense (DoD). Previously he was a business development executive with GE IT Solutions where he worked to establish the division as a services and product provider in numerous large commercial and public sector accounts. He has also held senior sales positions at market leaders such as SunGard Recovery Services, Gartner Group, Philips Information Systems and Xerox Corporation. Ely holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Hope College. Jones joins IxReveal from SAS Institute where, as an account executive in the public sector, he worked with government federal civilian agencies, including the Departments of Energy, Labor, Education and Interior as well as the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, to deliver customized enterprise business intelligence software solutions. Previously, he was a solutions business development manager with Enterworks, Inc., identifying business opportunities and delivering enterprise software solutions to commercial and government clients. Jones began his career as a commissioned officer for the United States Navy and spent four years as a systems engineer with the Management and Data Systems division of Lockheed Martin Corporation. He holds a bachelor's of science from the United States Naval Academy.
