uReka! Frequently Asked Questions
- My uReka! license key has expired, now what?
IxReveal provides evaluation licenses free of charge. When the evaluation license
has expired, you may purchase the software by calling (904) 421-7388. The retail purchase
price is $79.00. Once IxReveal has received payment, you will be provided with a license
key, which includes one year of maintenance.
- Where can I find installation instructions?
Installation instructions are available on the CD or may be downloaded from the uReka!
Support page.
- How do I add a search engine tab to uReka!?
The Windows Live search engine tab is provided with uReka!. Your System Administrator
may have installed additional tabs for you. If you wish to use a search engine that is not
shown, you will have to add a tab for it.
- On the Menu Bar, select Tools > Options. In the box that pops up,
on the Search Tabs tab, click on the Add button
- From the Drop Down list, select the Search Engine you wish to add. uReka!
automatically fills in the Tab Name and Tab Description. You can change these by
typing over them
- Select OK
To extend uReka!'s search capabilities to your desktop, you will need to install Google Desktop
(http://desktop.google.com/) and/or
Windows Desktop Search
(http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/desktopsearch/getitnow.mspx).
Note: SharePoint Services (WSS) is not supported in this version of uReka!. An upgrade
with this functionality will be made available to licensed users in the near future.
